Creating and editing SVG, JPEG and PND images to create original branding and materials for online and print.

Design scenario for course assessment: BoulderBerg is a bouldering and sport climbing centre with a growing reputation. To celebrate the first anniversary of their opening to the public they are planning to hold a promotional event. They want to update their branding with a new logo and build their online and social media presence in the run up to the event.

Media Type: Scalable Vector Graphic Logo, suitable for using across print and online media, Promotional graphic incorporating at least two images, suitable in file size and license for sharing through Social Media channels.

The Logo: The mountain graphic for the logo was created as a SVG using vectr.com. A PNG version of the logo was created, combining the Mountain with the business name, using pixlr.com

The Promotional Graphic: The background image used in the promotional graphic is by Hans Braxmeier from Pixabay and is used in accordance with the license conditions. The image was selectively cropped and enhanced with blur and light filters to increase the lightness and contrast of the image. This image was then combined with the original logo, text and block shapes using Adobe's Spark Post.
